Our company was founded by Dick
Swanson in 1978 as an engineering
design firm, located in Plymouth,
MN. In 1988, current president Jay
Swanson joined his father in the
business. In the late 1980's, Swantec expanded our line of
services to include fabrication,
machining and assembly.
As the business continued to grow
through the years, we moved to our
current location in Princeton in
2005. By building this new facility,
we doubled the size of our
operations to better meet the needs
of our current customers and future
customers as well.
Our 15,000 sq. ft. facility houses
our many work areas, including
welding, plasma cutting, water jet
cutting and conventional and CNC

allows for larger material handling
utilizing 5 and 10 ton overhead
cranes with 40' and 75' spans.
